On top of the Sváb hill, on the edge of the nature reserve area of Buda, only 15 minutes away from the city centre, the Normafa hotel can be found in picturesque surroundings.

Embark on an extensive variety of sport and wellness activities and venture to the outdoor swimming pool which is open from the 1st May until end of the Summer time every year. This lookout was the most popular excursion place of Budapest's artist society of the 19th century. The well-known singer Róza Klein once sung the great aria of Bellini`s Norma under a big beech at this beautiful place. From this time on, this place is called Norma tree - "Normafa" in Hungarian.
