The Danubius Hotel Astoria in the heart of Budapest is built on the site of the medieval town walls and is one of the most charming old-style hotels of Hungary's capital. Opened in 1914, it was named after the world-famous Waldorf Astoria in New York. The newly renovated, air-conditioned deluxe rooms offer lots of space and elegant antique-like white furniture.
